Dr. Esteban Alvarado
Dr. Esteban Alvarado is a dentist who graduated from ULACIT in 2009. He later pursued his postgraduate studies in Maxillofacial Surgery at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, earning his specialist degree in 2014.
Following his specialization, he completed a Fellowship in Virtual Surgical Planning at the University of Freiburg in Germany through the prestigious AO Foundation.
Since returning to Costa Rica in 2015, he has dedicated himself to private practice with a focus on Orthognathic Surgery, while also performing oral surgery. Currently, his practice is transitioning to focus exclusively on Orthognathic Surgery.
Since 2010, Dr. Alvarado has traveled regularly to Santa Barbara, California, to collaborate and train with Dr. William Arnett, a global authority in orthognathic surgery and creator of the FAB (Face, Airway, Bite) philosophy, which is applied in each of his cases.
Deeply passionate about clinical excellence and continuous learning, Dr. Alvarado actively attends and lectures at the world’s leading orthognathic surgery events.
He has been an international speaker, presenting in major global forums in cities such as New York, Paris, Santa Barbara, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, among many others. He also contributes to scientific publications in top specialty journals, ensuring he remains at the forefront of his field.
