About
Dr. Esteban Alvarado
Dr. Esteban Alvarado is a dentist, graduated from ULACIT in 2009. After graduating as a general dentist, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, where he obtained his degree as a Maxillofacial Surgeon in 2014.
After completing his specialty, he completed a Fellowship in virtual surgical planning at the University of Freiburg in Germany through the AO association.
Since his definitive return to the country in 2015, he has dedicated himself to a private practice, with an emphasis on Orthognathic Surgery. He also practices oral surgery and is currently undergoing the transition to become a practice dedicated solely and exclusively to Orthognathic Surgery.
Since 2010, Dr. Esteban travels annually and periodically to Santa Barbra, California, where Dr. William Arnett is a world leader in orthognathic surgery and creator of the FAB philosophy (Face, Airway, Bite), which is used in each of our cases.
In addition to being passionate about the clinic, Dr. Alvarado also keeps himself constantly updated, both as an assistant and as a lecturer at the largest orthognathic surgery events in the world.
He is an international speaker on topics related to orthognathic surgery, which has led him to speak at major forums worldwide in cities such as New York, Paris, California, Colombia, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, among many others.
He also participates in the publication of scientific articles in different journals of the specialty, which keeps him updated all the time.

Our Team
Tatiana
I have been working at the Face and Jaw clinic for 6 years, providing information to patients about the services we offer so they can learn more about our work, scheduling appointments to resolve as quickly as possible the problem that each patient tells us in their call or message.
We follow up with patients who require orthognathic surgery in order to give them their long-awaited surgery dates and we provide the required follow-up in cases that require rehabilitation after the placement of dental implants. Our priority is always the patient and knowing how to listen and address the feelings and concerns that they convey to us in order to provide a prompt solution, knowing that each issue and patient is totally individual.

I have been working as a dental assistant for 5 years at Face and Jaw. In my job I have several tasks to support Dr. Esteban Alvarado, and ensure that the office runs efficiently.
Greet and seat patients, take their medical histories, and ensure they are comfortable prior to procedures. Assist Dr. Alvarado during procedures, passing out necessary instruments and materials, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Take dental x-rays as needed. Equipment Maintenance Ensure dental equipment is clean, sterilized, and in good working order.
Provide instructions and advice on dental care, including oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate records of treatments, patient histories and other relevant information.
